Merry Christmas Eve!! I feel like I've been hibernating lately, unable to get out because of being sick. It's the pits. Especially when you know you have a bit more shopping to do! Hopefully I'll be able to get out today and pick up those last few things. I'm so excited that it's finally here, Christmas!! Today, we're having fondue with our friends, the Atherton's, here at my Mom's. Then we'll be going to the church later this evening to see all of Tanner's extended family, and see Santa :) Then we'll go up to the Steveson's and open pajamas! We'll wake up tomorrow at my Mom's, open presents, then drive right back up to the in-laws for more gift exchanging. (Thank goodness they're only 10 mins away). Then a big yummy dinner with both our families combined! Yay! I just hope I feel way better once it all starts!

Sorry about that last depressing blog... things ARE crazy, but I'm doing just fine. Layla is growing and learning how to do all kinds of new things. She does a good job of keeping my mind off all the tough stuff! I love her.

This has been a crazy couple of days and I think my heads still in a fog, trying to process it all. Plus I am SOOO sleep deprived!! Layla is sick and it keeps getting worse. Her nose is completely stuffed up and of course it's majorly worse at night. She sounds SO pathetic, it makes me cry. Tanner and I haven't been able to do anything fun together yet, because of all of my stupid doctor appointments... I've had stupid doctor appointments. My body hurts. And Tanner is still sleeping on an air mattress in my room, because the bed isn't big enough for all three of us (yes, Layla will NOT sleep outside of the bed yet, especially now that she's sick).

Sorry this was just a big blog full of complaints and depressing "feel sorry for myself" stuff. I know it's going to be okay and I will feed MUCH better once I get some sleep. Goodnight!

YAY! Tanner is here! I am SOOOOOOOO glad to have him here with us! He is unfortunately working the whole time he's up here... well I guess it a blessing that we'll be able to make more money, but I miss him! Anyway, Only 8 days until Christmas!! I wrapped a lot of presents today for Tanner and Layla and it really got me excited. I know that Layla wont remember any of the festivities, but it's still so fun to have her here with us this year! She's really the best present of them all!

Layla is nearing 4 months now, where did the time go?! She is almost rolling over. She rolls onto her side, gets nervous, then flops back. It's funny. I made her laugh histarically for the first time a couple days ago! It was great! All I did was look WAY up at the ceiling, then look down at her really fast. That did the trick and she was busting up! Although her laugh really isn't a "hahaha" or "hehehe" it's more like "Haaaaaaaaaa". I wish you could hear it.

She began to fight sleep off like crazy a couple of weeks ago, but she is improving rapidly. I have our night time routine going strong. Bathtime, songtime, nursing, then sleep! She does much better with that structure. I lay her down and within about 5 mins or less, she's out! I'm going to try to get her into her room once we get home. We'll see how that goes. Well, I hope everyone is having fun getting ready for Christmas! Love ya!
