We're having so much fun getting ready for Christmas! Although we still need Tanner here with us. Layla is pretty much oblivious to all the festivities, but it's cute when she does recognize things. She loves the Christmas trees (my mom has two), but will only stay entertained by them for about a minute. She really likes it when I sing Christmas Carols to her, but no one else does (becaues of my singing voice) so I have to do that with no one else around. And hopefully she likes cookies, because I keep eating a bunch of them! :)

I love Layla! She is unfortunately getting to that age where she fights sleep at night like a soldier. It's tough, because it's the first time ever where I've had to let her cry it out a bit. No longer than 5 mins though. That's about as long as I can stand, but she is finally getting the hang of it and learning to fall asleep just beautifully. I think it helps to establish a night time routine too. I just hope it's not super hard once we go home... but it probably will be. I miss all my friends from Rexburg (not that I have too many) and especially my handsome, wonderful husband!
